This Pomodoro sauce is always in my fridge. This is a base that I use to make my Sunday Sauce, Arrabiata Sauce, Chili Crunch and so many others. Being able to make this will take you far. You can even use this as a marinara to dip bread into. I’ve also used this to top a Detroit pizza/focaccia and it’s amazing.
It’s simple and takes very little effort. Major Crowd Pleaser.
This reminds me of the Marcella Hazan recipe I’m religious about, but I love the fennel addition. I will try that next time!
