This one is quick and easy (hehe). We will keep this short and to the point. I don’t use this sauce often but I will use this sauce with tomato pie, soup base or even use it as a tomato paste. We just take a tasty tomato recipe and reduce it till it is thicc. It is different from my Pomodoro Sauce that I typically make and use for pastas and other cookery at home quite often.
INGREDIENTS
1 Can of Biancos Dinapoli Whole Tomato
or Any whole San Marzano Can
6 Cloves of Garlic
2 Teaspoons of Dried Sicilian Oregano
2 Pinches of salt
1 Tablespoon of Olive oil
COOKWARE/ UTENSILS
Can Opener
Microplane
Medium Sauce Pot
Whisk
Rubber Spatula
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat Sauce Pot on medium heat
Drizzle in olive oil
Add Can of tomatoes
Grate Garlic into the pot
Sprinkle in dried oregano
Season with salt
Stir continuously to avoid scorching on the bottom of the pan
We want to reduce this to 16-20oz; which is basically half
